Innovative Software Solutions for eProcurement
We have developed a number of new and innovative applications in the eProcurement domain. These include
Simplified Catalog Management using Universal Material Database (UMD)T
The details of products and services are entered into the UMDT as an online electronic product catalog. The UMDT provides the advantage that the purchaser and the suppliers need not change their individual material codification systems, thus reducing the time required to get suppliers onto the new system.
Global ecommerce with eMarket IntegratorT
The system enables automated single sign-on to multiple eMarkets with which the purchaser is registered. This enables the purchaser to compare and source products and services offered on different horizontal and vertical eMarkets across the world. This provides more choice to the purchaser and helps in finding new and better suppliers.
Automated Software Agents (ASA)T
ASAT are used to automate the eProcurement process. For example, the Global Price Discovery (GPD)T ASA searches various eMarkets across countries to buy at least cost and sell at highest price globally. Agent-mediated ecommerce based on pre-defined business rules helps organizations manage the increased volume, velocity and complexity of transactions without needing to add people
Dynamic Supply Management (DSM)T
The software provides assured material availability through instrumented ecommerce. Product levels are monitored through installed instrumentation. Whenever any material falls below a certain level, supply requests are automatically placed to the supplier(s).
Innovative Software Solutions for Maintenance Management
We have developed new and innovative solutions for maintenance management, including
Electronic Maintenance Service Request (E-MSR)
The information regarding breakdowns in plant and machinery are communicated via the network to maintenance personnel using a variety of communication channels including the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), internet and mobile phones.
Overall Equipment Effectiveness
To support implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), we have developed a tool to calculate the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
